Vegetable Fried Rice
Ingredients:
Rice-100gms, Carrot-1/2 cup, Beans-1/2 cup, cabbage-1/2 cup,garlic-10 clovettes chopped, big onion lenghtwise cut-1cup,pepper powder-1tsp., ghee- 2tsp.,salt,curry leaves.
Initially boil the rice and allow to cool.
Keep a pan on the stove and heat. Add oil and add chopped garlic, curry leaves and fry for 10 sec.,then add onion, and fry till it becomes transparent.
Now add chopped carrot,beans,cabbage and fry for 5 min till all veg.s are half cooked in the ghee.(may add water if you are health conscious)
Add little water and salt and allow to cook by closing the lid for 10 min.
When the water is fully absorbed add the pepper powder, salt and mix well.
Now add the cooled boiled rice and mix well.
Add salt if necessary.
Delicious fried rice is ready to enjoy. Also a pinch of Ajinomoto is added for extra taste.
Serve with onion raitha and chips.
