Ribbon Pakoda:
Ingredients:Gram Flour-1/2kg,Rice flour-1/2kg,Red chilly-15,Asafotida powder,Garlic-7 nos,Salt,oil.
1.Place red chilly, garlic,salt in a jar and grind to make fine paste by adding little water.
2.In a huge basin place the gram flour,rice flour,ground paste,asofotida powder and mix well.By adding water mix well to get the consistency of making dough.At last add heated oil and mix well.Keep it aside.
3.Place a pan on he stove with oil and allow to heat.
4.In the ribbon pakoda making machine(atchu) and squeeze on the oil directly.
5.Turn it back and allow to boil to get crispy ribbon pakoda.
In this recipe,garlic is optional. It improves the taste and good for digestion. If you don't want garlic, with the flours you can add red chilly powder instead of grinding red chilly.The red chlly quantity depends on spicy you need.
For this quantity, 2 tablespoon full is enough.
