Masaal Vada


Masaal Vadai:
Ingredients:
Gram Dal - 1cup,toor dal-2tsp,greengram dal-2tsp,red chilly-4,ginger-little piece,garlic-5,salt to taste,ani seeds-1tsp, curry leaves,corrionder leaves-little,asafotida powder,chopped onion.
1.Soak gramdal,toor dal,greengram dal together in a bowl of water for 1 to 2 hrs.
2.Drain water and grind it with red chilly ,little ginger,ani seeds,salt.This should not be ground to fine paste.Just get it with half ground.(in the mixie,first grind red chilly ,salt,aniseeds,ginger finely then add soaked dals and grind one time to get the consistancy)
3.Take this ground substance in a bowl.
4.To it add chopped onion,chopped curry and corrionder leaves,chopped garlic ,asafotida powder and mix well.
5.Heat oil in a pan.
6.Take little substance in your left hand and press to make vadai shape and put it in the heat oil and deep fry it.
7.Repeat it by turning the vadai.
8.Take out and keep in the plate with tissue.
Tasty masaal vadai is ready to serve.
Serve with any chutney .
