Jilebi(Sweet Recipe)



Sweet Recipe:
 I tried it after a long time, since I gave up doing this due to absence of my kids. I did this yesterday as per her wish and it came out very well. I would like to share the mood and recipe here. Though it sounds to be a tough recipe, really it is very easy to make with the ingredients always available at home. Try and leave your valuable comments.
Delicious Jilebi:
Maida Flour- 1 cup, Sour Bitter milk- 1cup, water, Refined oil, Sugar.
Method of making the batter:
1.Take the Maida flour in a bowl and add Sour butter milk(Pulicha more) and mix well..
2.By adding water little by little mix well to make the batter which I showed in the snap.Mix well so that it should not have lumps.You may add yellow or Red color to this.
3. Take this in a bottle shape container with a hole in it. The bottle should be like, it should be able to squeeze to get the jilebi shape.
4.Place a pan on one stove and pour oil and heat. It should be in medium flame.
5. In other stove, place a pan and add sugar and water and heat. Obtain sugar syrub with thick consistency. When you touch it it should stick to form a string between fingers. At this stage turn off and keep it aside.
6. Squeeze the batter like jilbi shape on the heated oil itself and keep it to change color.
7.Using stick or ladle, turn it and when it becomes crispy take out and place it in the sugar syrub.
After fully immersing and keeping for a min. take it out and keep in in a plate.After sometime place it to the serving plate.
Very crispy delicious sweet Jilebi is ready to serve.
It is very easy to make and kids will luv it a lot. With 100 gms. of maida you can make more than 10 jilebis...
