Butter Murukku

South Indian Special Butter Murukku:

As everyone knows, Murukku is a very very special snack we usually prepare for Diwali. Apart from usual method, we use butter while making the dough for murukku. This adds special odour and taste to it. Will be crispy too.Here I'm sharing the exact proportion which you can follow easily.Try and share your valuable comments.
Diwali Special:
South Indian Special Butter Murukku:
Ingredients:For 1200gms of rice(raw rice),White orid needed is 200gms.,Salt,Butter,Oil,Gingelly,Asofotida.
Method:
Pre preparation of Flour needed to make Murukku:
Soak the rice for 3 to 4 hrs.
1.Then clean the rice and make it dry in sunlight.Take this dried rice in a container.
2.Keep pan on the stove and place the orid and fry for 5min.
3.Place it on the dried rice and grind to fine powder in flour mill.
4.Filter this powdered flour and keep in a large basin.
5.Add to it required salt,asafotida powder,butter,water ann mix well to get the dough consistancy.At last add heated oil and mix.Now the flour is ready to make murukku.
6.Keep oil in a pan and heat on the stove.
7.Place the dough in the murukku making machine(Achu with murukku thagadu)and squeeze in the murukku shape on a plate and place it in to the oil.
8.Fry well and take out.Keep it on the tissue paper.
9.Tasty butter murukku is ready to eat.
