Ragi Semiya Masala


Ragi Semiya masala:

Ingredients :Ragi semiya(available in markets),finely chopped big onion-2,chopped tomato-1,splitted green chilly-4,red chilly powder-1tsp,chopped garlic-10seeds,oil,cumin seeds,orid dal-1tsp each,asoefotida powder,curry leaves,salt.
Soak the ragi semiya in water by adding little salt for 3 min.Place this soaked ragi semiya in the idly making plate and boil for 5 min and take out and keep aside.
Keep a pan on the stove,pour oil and heat.Add cumin seeds.After cracking add orid dal,curry leaves ,red chilly-2,chopped onion,chopped garlic and fry till brown.Then add green chilly,tomato and fry.Add red chilly powder,salt and add the boiled ragi semiya in it and mix well.Keep it at low flame for 10 min.Spread corrionder leaves on it.Hot healty Ragi semiya masala is ready to serve.
Serve with coconut chutney or tomato chutney.
