Sweet Pongal


Sweet Pongal
To one part of rice(raw rice),add little fried greengram dal,add 3 parts of water and boil in cooker for 4 whistles.In a pan place jaggery (depending upon sweet u need)(For 200 gms of rice 4 pieces of jaggery needed/1/4kg) and pour little water and allow to dissolve. smash fine the cooked rice and add this jaggery water and mix without lumbs.Then pour it in a pan and keep it in stove for 10min.Add ghee side by side and stir well.Add cardomom powder.At last add fried cashews,kismis and serve hot.
